Small Room No View is the result of trying to make a film like Jarmusch's Down by Law and ending up with Porridge. We had no script and thought that we could improvise throughout the shoot. Jarmusch makes it look so easy. We came unstuck but held it together and it now seems to have got better with time. The film debuted at the London Film Festival and did very little else apart from creating the need to do better. Again, the credits were somehow lost in the transfer - apologies.
